How To Uninstall freemat-data On Debian 9

To uninstall freemat-data just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just freemat-data

freemat data filesDebian 9.0math4.2+dfsg1-4
sudo apt-get remove freemat-data

This will remove just the freemat-data package itself.

Uninstall freemat-data and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove freemat-data

This will remove the freemat-data package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for freemat-data then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge freemat-data

Or similarly, like this freemat-data

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove freemat-data
