How To Uninstall freeplane On Debian 9

To uninstall freeplane just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just freeplane

Java program for working with Mind MapsDebian 9.0editors1.5.18-1
sudo apt-get remove freeplane

This will remove just the freeplane package itself.

Uninstall freeplane and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove freeplane

This will remove the freeplane package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for freeplane then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge freeplane

Or similarly, like this freeplane

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove freeplane
