How To Uninstall freeradius On Debian 9

To uninstall freeradius just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just freeradius

high-performance and highly configurable RADIUS serverDebian 9.0net3.0.12+dfsg-5
sudo apt-get remove freeradius

This will remove just the freeradius package itself.

Uninstall freeradius and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove freeradius

This will remove the freeradius package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for freeradius then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge freeradius

Or similarly, like this freeradius

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove freeradius
