How To Uninstall freesweep On Debian 9

To uninstall freesweep just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just freesweep

text-based minesweeperDebian 9.0games0.90-3+b1
sudo apt-get remove freesweep

This will remove just the freesweep package itself.

Uninstall freesweep and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove freesweep

This will remove the freesweep package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for freesweep then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge freesweep

Or similarly, like this freesweep

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove freesweep
