How To Uninstall freetable On Debian 9

To uninstall freetable just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just freetable

Facilitates production of HTML tablesDebian 9.0web2.3-4.2
sudo apt-get remove freetable

This will remove just the freetable package itself.

Uninstall freetable and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove freetable

This will remove the freetable package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for freetable then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge freetable

Or similarly, like this freetable

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove freetable
