How To Uninstall freetds-bin On Debian 9

To uninstall freetds-bin just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just freetds-bin

FreeTDS command-line utilitiesDebian 9.0database0.91-6.1+b4
sudo apt-get remove freetds-bin

This will remove just the freetds-bin package itself.

Uninstall freetds-bin and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove freetds-bin

This will remove the freetds-bin package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for freetds-bin then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge freetds-bin

Or similarly, like this freetds-bin

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove freetds-bin
