How To Uninstall fsarchiver On Debian 9

To uninstall fsarchiver just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fsarchiver

file system archiverDebian 9.0admin0.8.1-1
sudo apt-get remove fsarchiver

This will remove just the fsarchiver package itself.

Uninstall fsarchiver and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fsarchiver

This will remove the fsarchiver package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fsarchiver then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fsarchiver

Or similarly, like this fsarchiver

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fsarchiver
