How To Uninstall fsharp On Debian 9

To uninstall fsharp just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fsharp

functional-first programming language - compiler for the CLIDebian 9.0cli-mono4.0.0.4+dfsg2-2
sudo apt-get remove fsharp

This will remove just the fsharp package itself.

Uninstall fsharp and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fsharp

This will remove the fsharp package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fsharp then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fsharp

Or similarly, like this fsharp

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fsharp
