How To Uninstall fso-gpsd On Debian 9

To uninstall fso-gpsd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fso-gpsd

gpsd subset compatibility daemon for the freesmarpthone.org frameworkdDebian 9.0misc0.8-3.1+b2
sudo apt-get remove fso-gpsd

This will remove just the fso-gpsd package itself.

Uninstall fso-gpsd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fso-gpsd

This will remove the fso-gpsd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fso-gpsd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fso-gpsd

Or similarly, like this fso-gpsd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fso-gpsd
