How To Uninstall fssync On Debian 9

To uninstall fssync just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fssync

File system synchronization tool (1-way, over SSH)Debian 9.0utils1.6-1
sudo apt-get remove fssync

This will remove just the fssync package itself.

Uninstall fssync and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fssync

This will remove the fssync package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fssync then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fssync

Or similarly, like this fssync

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fssync
