How To Uninstall fstrcmp On Debian 9

To uninstall fstrcmp just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fstrcmp

fuzzy comparison of stringsDebian 9.0utils0.7.D001-1.1+b2
sudo apt-get remove fstrcmp

This will remove just the fstrcmp package itself.

Uninstall fstrcmp and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fstrcmp

This will remove the fstrcmp package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fstrcmp then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fstrcmp

Or similarly, like this fstrcmp

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fstrcmp
