How To Uninstall ftjam On Debian 9

To uninstall ftjam just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ftjam

FreeType version of Jam, a replacement for makeDebian 9.0devel2.5.2-1.1+b2
sudo apt-get remove ftjam

This will remove just the ftjam package itself.

Uninstall ftjam and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ftjam

This will remove the ftjam package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ftjam then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ftjam

Or similarly, like this ftjam

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ftjam
