How To Uninstall ftp-proxy On Debian 9

To uninstall ftp-proxy just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ftp-proxy

application level proxy for the FTP protocolDebian 9.0net1.9.2.4-10+b1
sudo apt-get remove ftp-proxy

This will remove just the ftp-proxy package itself.

Uninstall ftp-proxy and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ftp-proxy

This will remove the ftp-proxy package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ftp-proxy then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ftp-proxy

Or similarly, like this ftp-proxy

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ftp-proxy
