How To Uninstall ftp-upload On Debian 9

To uninstall ftp-upload just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ftp-upload

put files with FTP from a scriptDebian 9.0net1.5+nmu2
sudo apt-get remove ftp-upload

This will remove just the ftp-upload package itself.

Uninstall ftp-upload and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ftp-upload

This will remove the ftp-upload package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ftp-upload then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ftp-upload

Or similarly, like this ftp-upload

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ftp-upload
