How To Uninstall ftp.app On Debian 9

To uninstall ftp.app just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ftp.app

File transfer protocol application for GNUstepDebian 9.0gnustep0.5-1
sudo apt-get remove ftp.app

This will remove just the ftp.app package itself.

Uninstall ftp.app and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ftp.app

This will remove the ftp.app package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ftp.app then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ftp.app

Or similarly, like this ftp.app

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ftp.app
