How To Uninstall ftpcopy On Debian 9

To uninstall ftpcopy just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ftpcopy

FTP clients collectionDebian 9.0web0.6.7-3.1
sudo apt-get remove ftpcopy

This will remove just the ftpcopy package itself.

Uninstall ftpcopy and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ftpcopy

This will remove the ftpcopy package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ftpcopy then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ftpcopy

Or similarly, like this ftpcopy

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ftpcopy
