How To Uninstall ftpmirror On Debian 9

To uninstall ftpmirror just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ftpmirror

Mirroring directory hierarchy using FTP protocolDebian 9.0net1.96+dfsg-15
sudo apt-get remove ftpmirror

This will remove just the ftpmirror package itself.

Uninstall ftpmirror and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ftpmirror

This will remove the ftpmirror package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ftpmirror then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ftpmirror

Or similarly, like this ftpmirror

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ftpmirror
