How To Uninstall fuse-posixovl On Debian 9

To uninstall fuse-posixovl just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fuse-posixovl

FUSE file system that provides POSIX functionalityDebian 9.0misc1.2.20120215+gitf5bfe35-1
sudo apt-get remove fuse-posixovl

This will remove just the fuse-posixovl package itself.

Uninstall fuse-posixovl and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fuse-posixovl

This will remove the fuse-posixovl package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fuse-posixovl then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fuse-posixovl

Or similarly, like this fuse-posixovl

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fuse-posixovl
