How To Uninstall fuse On Debian 9

To uninstall fuse just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fuse

Filesystem in UserspaceDebian 9.0utils2.9.7-1
sudo apt-get remove fuse

This will remove just the fuse package itself.

Uninstall fuse and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fuse

This will remove the fuse package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fuse then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fuse

Or similarly, like this fuse

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fuse
