How To Uninstall fusesmb On Debian 9

To uninstall fusesmb just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fusesmb

filesystem client based on the SMB file transfer protocolDebian 9.0utils0.8.7-1.4
sudo apt-get remove fusesmb

This will remove just the fusesmb package itself.

Uninstall fusesmb and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fusesmb

This will remove the fusesmb package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fusesmb then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fusesmb

Or similarly, like this fusesmb

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fusesmb
