How To Uninstall fwbuilder-dbg On Debian 9

To uninstall fwbuilder-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fwbuilder-dbg

Firewall administration tool GUI (debugging symbols)Debian 9.0debug5.1.0-4+b4
sudo apt-get remove fwbuilder-dbg

This will remove just the fwbuilder-dbg package itself.

Uninstall fwbuilder-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fwbuilder-dbg

This will remove the fwbuilder-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fwbuilder-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fwbuilder-dbg

Or similarly, like this fwbuilder-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fwbuilder-dbg
