How To Uninstall fwlogwatch On Debian 9

To uninstall fwlogwatch just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fwlogwatch

Firewall log analyzerDebian 9.0net1.4-1
sudo apt-get remove fwlogwatch

This will remove just the fwlogwatch package itself.

Uninstall fwlogwatch and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fwlogwatch

This will remove the fwlogwatch package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fwlogwatch then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fwlogwatch

Or similarly, like this fwlogwatch

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fwlogwatch
