How To Uninstall fxt-tools On Debian 9

To uninstall fxt-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fxt-tools

Multithreaded tracing libraryDebian 9.0science0.3.2-2+b1
sudo apt-get remove fxt-tools

This will remove just the fxt-tools package itself.

Uninstall fxt-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fxt-tools

This will remove the fxt-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fxt-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fxt-tools

Or similarly, like this fxt-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fxt-tools
