How To Uninstall igmpproxy On Debian 9

To uninstall igmpproxy just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just igmpproxy

IGMP multicast routing daemonDebian 9.0net0.1-1
sudo apt-get remove igmpproxy

This will remove just the igmpproxy package itself.

Uninstall igmpproxy and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove igmpproxy

This will remove the igmpproxy package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for igmpproxy then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge igmpproxy

Or similarly, like this igmpproxy

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove igmpproxy
