How To Uninstall init-system-helpers On Debian 9

To uninstall init-system-helpers just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just init-system-helpers

helper tools for all init systemsDebian 9.0admin1.48
sudo apt-get remove init-system-helpers

This will remove just the init-system-helpers package itself.

Uninstall init-system-helpers and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove init-system-helpers

This will remove the init-system-helpers package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for init-system-helpers then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge init-system-helpers

Or similarly, like this init-system-helpers

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove init-system-helpers
