How To Uninstall libace-rmcast-dev On Debian 9

To uninstall libace-rmcast-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libace-rmcast-dev

ACE reliable multicast library - development filesDebian 9.0libdevel6.3.3+dfsg-1.2
sudo apt-get remove libace-rmcast-dev

This will remove just the libace-rmcast-dev package itself.

Uninstall libace-rmcast-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libace-rmcast-dev

This will remove the libace-rmcast-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libace-rmcast-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libace-rmcast-dev

Or similarly, like this libace-rmcast-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libace-rmcast-dev
