How To Uninstall libacl1-dev On Debian 9

To uninstall libacl1-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libacl1-dev

Access control list static libraries and headersDebian 9.0libdevel2.2.52-3+b1
sudo apt-get remove libacl1-dev

This will remove just the libacl1-dev package itself.

Uninstall libacl1-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libacl1-dev

This will remove the libacl1-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libacl1-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libacl1-dev

Or similarly, like this libacl1-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libacl1-dev
