How To Uninstall libadns1 On Debian 9

To uninstall libadns1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libadns1

Asynchronous-capable DNS client libraryDebian 9.0libs1.5.0~rc1-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove libadns1

This will remove just the libadns1 package itself.

Uninstall libadns1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libadns1

This will remove the libadns1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libadns1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libadns1

Or similarly, like this libadns1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libadns1
