How To Uninstall libafterimage-dev On Debian 9

To uninstall libafterimage-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libafterimage-dev

imaging library designed for AfterStep - development filesDebian 9.0libdevel2.2.12-9+b1
sudo apt-get remove libafterimage-dev

This will remove just the libafterimage-dev package itself.

Uninstall libafterimage-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libafterimage-dev

This will remove the libafterimage-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libafterimage-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libafterimage-dev

Or similarly, like this libafterimage-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libafterimage-dev
