How To Uninstall libafterstep1 On Debian 9

To uninstall libafterstep1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libafterstep1

linuxshared libraries for the AfterStep window managerlibs2.2.12-9+b1
sudo apt-get remove libafterstep1

This will remove just the libafterstep1 package itself.

Uninstall libafterstep1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libafterstep1

This will remove the libafterstep1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libafterstep1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libafterstep1

Or similarly, like this libafterstep1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libafterstep1
