How To Uninstall liballegro5-dev On Debian 9

To uninstall liballegro5-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just liballegro5-dev

development files for the Allegro 5 libraryDebian 9.0libdevel2:5.2.2-1
sudo apt-get remove liballegro5-dev

This will remove just the liballegro5-dev package itself.

Uninstall liballegro5-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove liballegro5-dev

This will remove the liballegro5-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for liballegro5-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge liballegro5-dev

Or similarly, like this liballegro5-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove liballegro5-dev
