How To Uninstall libann-dev On Debian 9

To uninstall libann-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libann-dev

Approximate Nearest Neighbor Searching library (development files)Debian 9.0libdevel1.1.2+doc-6
sudo apt-get remove libann-dev

This will remove just the libann-dev package itself.

Uninstall libann-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libann-dev

This will remove the libann-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libann-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libann-dev

Or similarly, like this libann-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libann-dev
