How To Uninstall libannotation-indexer-java On Debian 9

sudo apt-get remove libannotation-indexer-java

This will remove just the libannotation-indexer-java package itself.

Uninstall libannotation-indexer-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libannotation-indexer-java

This will remove the libannotation-indexer-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libannotation-indexer-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libannotation-indexer-java
