How To Uninstall libapache2-mod-xforward On Debian 9

To uninstall libapache2-mod-xforward just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libapache2-mod-xforward

Apache module implements redirection based on X-Forward response headerDebian 9.0httpd0.6-1
sudo apt-get remove libapache2-mod-xforward

This will remove just the libapache2-mod-xforward package itself.

Uninstall libapache2-mod-xforward and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libapache2-mod-xforward

This will remove the libapache2-mod-xforward package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libapache2-mod-xforward then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libapache2-mod-xforward

Or similarly, like this libapache2-mod-xforward

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libapache2-mod-xforward
