How To Uninstall libapm-dev On Debian 9

To uninstall libapm-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libapm-dev

Library for interacting with APM driver in kernelDebian 9.0libdevel3.2.2-15+b2
sudo apt-get remove libapm-dev

This will remove just the libapm-dev package itself.

Uninstall libapm-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libapm-dev

This will remove the libapm-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libapm-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libapm-dev

Or similarly, like this libapm-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libapm-dev
