How To Uninstall libapm1 On Debian 9

To uninstall libapm1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libapm1

Library for interacting with APM driver in kernelDebian 9.0libs3.2.2-15+b2
sudo apt-get remove libapm1

This will remove just the libapm1 package itself.

Uninstall libapm1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libapm1

This will remove the libapm1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libapm1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libapm1

Or similarly, like this libapm1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libapm1
