How To Uninstall libappstreamqt-dev On Debian 9

To uninstall libappstreamqt-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libappstreamqt-dev

Qt5 library to access AppStream services (development files)Debian 9.0libdevel0.10.6-2
sudo apt-get remove libappstreamqt-dev

This will remove just the libappstreamqt-dev package itself.

Uninstall libappstreamqt-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libappstreamqt-dev

This will remove the libappstreamqt-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libappstreamqt-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libappstreamqt-dev

Or similarly, like this libappstreamqt-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libappstreamqt-dev
