How To Uninstall libarmci-mpi-dev On Debian 9

To uninstall libarmci-mpi-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libarmci-mpi-dev

ARMCI-MPI (Development version)Debian 9.0libdevel0.0~git20160222-2
sudo apt-get remove libarmci-mpi-dev

This will remove just the libarmci-mpi-dev package itself.

Uninstall libarmci-mpi-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libarmci-mpi-dev

This will remove the libarmci-mpi-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libarmci-mpi-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libarmci-mpi-dev

Or similarly, like this libarmci-mpi-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libarmci-mpi-dev
