How To Uninstall libasedrive-usb On Debian 9

To uninstall libasedrive-usb just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libasedrive-usb

PC/SC driver for the Athena ASEDrive IIIe USB smart card readerDebian 9.0libs3.7-5
sudo apt-get remove libasedrive-usb

This will remove just the libasedrive-usb package itself.

Uninstall libasedrive-usb and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libasedrive-usb

This will remove the libasedrive-usb package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libasedrive-usb then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libasedrive-usb

Or similarly, like this libasedrive-usb

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libasedrive-usb
