How To Uninstall libasm-java On Debian 9

To uninstall libasm-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libasm-java

Java bytecode manipulation frameworkDebian 9.0java5.2-2
sudo apt-get remove libasm-java

This will remove just the libasm-java package itself.

Uninstall libasm-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libasm-java

This will remove the libasm-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libasm-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libasm-java

Or similarly, like this libasm-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libasm-java
