sudo apt-get remove libgradle-android-plugin-java

This will remove just the libgradle-android-plugin-java package itself.

Uninstall libgradle-android-plugin-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgradle-android-plugin-java

This will remove the libgradle-android-plugin-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too
