How To Uninstall libgssapi-krb5-2 On Debian 9

To uninstall libgssapi-krb5-2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgssapi-krb5-2

MIT Kerberos runtime libraries - krb5 GSS-API MechanismDebian 9.0libs1.15-1
sudo apt-get remove libgssapi-krb5-2

This will remove just the libgssapi-krb5-2 package itself.

Uninstall libgssapi-krb5-2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgssapi-krb5-2

This will remove the libgssapi-krb5-2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgssapi-krb5-2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgssapi-krb5-2

Or similarly, like this libgssapi-krb5-2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgssapi-krb5-2
