How To Uninstall libjpgalleg4-dev On Debian 9

To uninstall libjpgalleg4-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libjpgalleg4-dev

linuxdevelopment files for the JPG loading addon for Allegro 4libdevel2:4.4.2-10
sudo apt-get remove libjpgalleg4-dev

This will remove just the libjpgalleg4-dev package itself.

Uninstall libjpgalleg4-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libjpgalleg4-dev

This will remove the libjpgalleg4-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libjpgalleg4-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libjpgalleg4-dev

Or similarly, like this libjpgalleg4-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libjpgalleg4-dev
