How To Uninstall libjsoncpp1 On Debian 9

To uninstall libjsoncpp1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libjsoncpp1

library for reading and writing JSON for C++Debian 9.0libs1.7.4-3
sudo apt-get remove libjsoncpp1

This will remove just the libjsoncpp1 package itself.

Uninstall libjsoncpp1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libjsoncpp1

This will remove the libjsoncpp1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libjsoncpp1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libjsoncpp1

Or similarly, like this libjsoncpp1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libjsoncpp1
