How To Uninstall libmemcached11 On Debian 9

To uninstall libmemcached11 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libmemcached11

C and C++ client library to the memcached serverDebian 9.0libs1.0.18-4.1
sudo apt-get remove libmemcached11

This will remove just the libmemcached11 package itself.

Uninstall libmemcached11 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libmemcached11

This will remove the libmemcached11 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libmemcached11 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libmemcached11

Or similarly, like this libmemcached11

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libmemcached11
