How To Uninstall libodbc1 On Debian 9

To uninstall libodbc1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libodbc1

ODBC library for UnixDebian 9.0libs2.3.4-1
sudo apt-get remove libodbc1

This will remove just the libodbc1 package itself.

Uninstall libodbc1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libodbc1

This will remove the libodbc1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libodbc1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libodbc1

Or similarly, like this libodbc1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libodbc1
