How To Uninstall libparpack2-dbg On Debian 9

To uninstall libparpack2-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libparpack2-dbg

Parallel subroutines to solve large scale eigenvalue problems (debug)Debian 9.0debug3.4.0-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove libparpack2-dbg

This will remove just the libparpack2-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libparpack2-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libparpack2-dbg

This will remove the libparpack2-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libparpack2-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libparpack2-dbg

Or similarly, like this libparpack2-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libparpack2-dbg
