How To Uninstall libudev1 On Debian 9

To uninstall libudev1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libudev1

libudev shared libraryDebian 9.0libs232-25
sudo apt-get remove libudev1

This will remove just the libudev1 package itself.

Uninstall libudev1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libudev1

This will remove the libudev1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libudev1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libudev1

Or similarly, like this libudev1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libudev1
