How To Uninstall libupnp6 On Debian 9

To uninstall libupnp6 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libupnp6

Portable SDK for UPnP Devices, version 1.6 (shared libraries)Debian 9.0libs1:1.6.19+git20160116-1.2
sudo apt-get remove libupnp6

This will remove just the libupnp6 package itself.

Uninstall libupnp6 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libupnp6

This will remove the libupnp6 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libupnp6 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libupnp6

Or similarly, like this libupnp6

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libupnp6
