How To Uninstall liburi-perl On Debian 9

To uninstall liburi-perl just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just liburi-perl

module to manipulate and access URI stringsDebian 9.0perl1.71-1
sudo apt-get remove liburi-perl

This will remove just the liburi-perl package itself.

Uninstall liburi-perl and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove liburi-perl

This will remove the liburi-perl package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for liburi-perl then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge liburi-perl

Or similarly, like this liburi-perl

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove liburi-perl
